This blog is to report on efforts to de-racialize the Dallas landscape.
This will encompass the street names, Fair Park, Confederate monuments, parks, schools, and any other aspect of the built environment which is involved in maintaining a racialized landscape.
It will also explore how a landscape is racialized in other ways that aren't immediately apparent.
Further other campaigns to de-Confederate Dallas will be reported here in this blog.
As you might know, my main blog on tracking the neo-Confederate movement is at http://newtknight.blogspot.com .
I have spent the last year and half doing research into Dallas history and starting in January 2019 it will be time to move to activism. This blog will be to to communicate information about this effort.
There is also a Facebook page.

Also, a lot of information will be online at this web page.

There is a blog on the Robert E. Lee park. This will remain up and has some important history but it will not be updated. https://roberteleepark.blogspot.com/ This would be good for some back story information.
